Jewelry by Carvin French
André Chervin, Co-Founder & CEO, Carvin French
"For me, jewelry is the most intimate expression of art…expressing itself symbiotically with the beauty, the personality, and the spirit of each individual.”
The fine jewelry of Carvin French is created from start to finish in New York City. Each piece, large or small, is not finished until it is beautiful, not only to the eye, but also to the touch. The specialized craftsmanship includes intricate diamond and precious stone settings and designs, meticulous lapidary work, and precise enamel work. It is due to this uncompromising attention to detail and unparalleled achievement that Carvin French is often called “the jeweler’s jeweler.”
Carvin French fabricates its fine jewelry primarily in 18 karat yellow and white gold and platinum, although on occasion, special orders include elements of silver, precious hard woods, titanium, and even steel. The jewelry features diamonds (including fancy colored diamonds), sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and the entire rainbow of other stones such as aquamarine, topaz, tsavorite, demantoid garnets, chalcedony, peridot, amethyst, and tourmaline.
Rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, cufflinks, and precious objects are custom crafted by a coterie of specialized master artisans. Today, the fabrication process incorporates the latest computer, laser, and 3D printing technology. But every Carvin French piece, however classic or complex, is still custom-crafted by skilled hands of master jewelers, setters, lapidaries, and polishers. For that, there is no substitution.
